nimekula i have eaten

In Swahili, "Nimekula" means "I have eaten".

For that, I am thankful. I have been blessed with a wonderful life, family, friends, good health and an expensive education! I don't have a car so I don't have to deal with traffic jams; I can hardly spell Armani and I don't follow trends. I am lucky, I am happy, I am full. Nimekula.

Below are two 501(c)(3) non-profit projects that I founded and dedicate my life to. I want to pass my blessings onto others, especially in the area of education, so that orphans and vulnerable children are empowered to transcend their bleak realities.

Salt - preserving the rich musical traditions of Cape Verde.

A Wall for Social Consciousness - helping orphans of the AIDS epidemic in Zimbabwe.
